Editorial Policy

Nuxpik publishes a small number of articles about workspace hardware and remote-work setups. This page describes how they are made and what standards they are held to.

Sourcing

Manufacturer specifications are treated as claims, not findings. Where a spec can be checked at the desk — a port’s actual bandwidth, a panel’s real refresh behavior, whether a dock delivers the wattage printed on the box — it is checked, and the article says how.

Where a number cannot be verified here, it is attributed to the manufacturer and marked as such. We do not restate a spec sheet and present it as testing.

Original Work

Everything reviewed here is photographed in our own workspace. Not stock images, not renders, not press kits — the actual unit, on the actual desk.

Testing periods are stated. Two weeks of use and a year as the daily driver are different levels of evidence, and the article says which one it is. Failures are published: hardware that stopped working after three months is more useful information than hardware that worked for a week.

We do not accept units in exchange for coverage.

Use of AI

Photographs of hardware are photographs. No image on this site that shows a product, a port, a screen, a measurement, or a label is generated or retouched by an AI model. We do not publish AI-generated images of people, and there is no AI-generated likeness of the editor anywhere on this site.

Credentials

No credentials are claimed on this site. Roger Mat is Founder & Editor — that describes a role, not a qualification. You will not find “certified,” “specialist,” or a claimed number of years of experience attached to anyone here, because none has been established.

What is claimed is narrow and checkable: the hardware was bought, used for a stated period, and photographed here.

Corrections

Hardware changes. Firmware updates fix things and break things, and a recommendation that held in March can stop holding by September.

If something here is wrong or has stopped being true, email us. Reports are reviewed within seven days. Corrections are made in the article and logged with the date and a description of what changed. We do not silently edit a published claim. A correction that changes the recommendation is noted at the top of the article.
